Dior Saddle Mini White/Grey Niloticus Crocodile Himalaya Shoulder Bag

To treat the "Himalaya" gradient as a trend is to misunderstand the artisan skill required to create it. Dyeing exotic Niloticus crocodile hide so that the deep slate tones gradually recede into an unblemished, icy white requires painstaking precision—a process where a single slip ruins the skin. Applied here to John Galliano’s sculptural 1999 Saddle design, the result is an extraordinary rarity that almost never hits the open resale market. The cool-toned scales give off a faint sheen under direct light, balanced by brushed pale-gold hardware. It is an artifact of high-craft luxury that carries serious investment clout for top-tier collectors.
